QR Workbench encodes what you give it — it doesn't verify it

Every generator on this site builds a real, correctly-encoded QR code from the values you enter. It does not check that a URL is safe or still live, that a WiFi password is correct, that a phone number is real, or that contact details are accurate. If you type it in wrong, the code will faithfully encode the wrong information — QR Workbench has no way to know the difference.

Bulk mode encodes raw values, not formatted payloads

The bulk workspace encodes whatever text or URL is in your mapped CSV column directly. It does not build WiFi- or vCard-formatted codes the way the individual WiFi and vCard generators do. If you need properly formatted WiFi or contact-card codes in bulk, that's on the roadmap but not built yet — use the individual generators for those formats in the meantime.

Scan reliability depends on how you print or display it

A QR code generated here is built correctly, but whether a printed or displayed copy scans reliably also depends on factors QR Workbench doesn't control: print resolution, paper and ink quality, screen brightness, code size relative to scanning distance, and the specific app or camera reading it. Higher error correction (Q or H) and a larger print size both improve reliability for codes that will see rough handling, low light, or scanning from a distance — test a real printed or displayed sample before relying on a code for anything important.

Trademarks

References to WiFi, Google Forms, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platform or format names on this site refer to those platforms and specifications for descriptive purposes — identifying what a given generator produces. QR Workbench is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of these companies or organizations.

Not compliance or legal advice

Some use cases — safety signage, regulated product labeling, official access-control systems — have specific requirements beyond "the code scans correctly." QR Workbench is a general-purpose encoding tool, not a compliance product, and using it doesn't by itself satisfy any industry-specific regulatory requirement. If your use case is regulated, consult the relevant standard or a qualified professional before relying on QR Workbench's output for that purpose.

No liability for business use

QR Workbench isn't liable for losses arising from a QR code that fails to scan after printing, from a WiFi or contact code that was configured incorrectly, or from relying on QR Workbench's output to satisfy a regulatory requirement it wasn't designed to meet.
