Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Using the service
QR Workbench provides browser-based tools for generating QR codes from data you supply, including a bulk workspace for generating many codes from a spreadsheet. The individual generators are free to use, with no signup required. By using QR Workbench, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
QR Workbench doesn't collect age information and has no account system to gate on it, but the service is intended for general business and personal use, not specifically marketed to children. If you're using QR Workbench on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to agree to these terms for that business.
Your data, your responsibility
You're responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of anything you encode — a URL, a WiFi network, contact details, or any other content. QR Workbench encodes what you give it; it does not verify that a link is safe, that a WiFi network belongs to you, or that contact details are accurate.
Format behavior
WiFi, vCard, email, SMS, and phone codes are built to the relevant open format specification (the WiFi QR format, vCard 3.0, and the mailto:/sms:/tel: URI schemes). Whether a given scanning app or device correctly interprets a code built to that specification is outside QR Workbench's control — see the Disclaimer.
Acceptable use
Don't use QR Workbench to generate codes for phishing, malware distribution, counterfeit products, unauthorized access to networks you don't own, or any other unlawful purpose. Don't attempt to disrupt the service — for example, automated scripting against the site in a way that degrades it for other users. QR Workbench may restrict access for use that violates these terms.
Intellectual property
The QR codes and files you generate using content you provide are yours to use freely — QR Workbench claims no ownership over your generated output. The QR Workbench site itself (its design, code, and branding) remains the property of its operator and isn't licensed for reuse or resale as a competing product.
Paid plans
The Single Batch and Pro plans described on the pricing section are intended to be one-time purchases, not subscriptions, once payment processing launches. Pricing and feature details are subject to change before those plans go live. The free individual generators are unaffected either way, and bulk generation remains free to use until payment launches.
No warranty
QR Workbench is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee a generated QR code will scan reliably under every printer, screen, paper, ink, or scanning-app combination — see the Disclaimer. We also don't guarantee the service will be available without interruption; like any web application, QR Workbench can experience downtime for maintenance or issues outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, QR Workbench isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including losses related to a QR code that fails to scan after printing, a WiFi or contact code that was configured incorrectly, or business interruption from service downtime.
Termination
Since QR Workbench has no accounts, there's nothing to "terminate" in the traditional sense — you can simply stop using the site at any time. If a future paid purchase is misused in violation of these terms, access to that purchase's unlocked features may be revoked.
Severability
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect — an invalid clause doesn't invalidate the whole agreement.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes, particularly as payment launches. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continuing to use QR Workbench after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
