How it works
- Enter the phone number, including the country code with a leading + (e.g. +1 555 123 4567).
- Check the preview, then download the SVG for print or PNG for screens.
- Place it wherever someone would want a one-tap way to call — a van, a menu, a service tag.
Good to know
- Always include the country code, even for a local business — it guarantees the number dials correctly regardless of where the scanning phone is set up.
- This is the simplest QR format there is, which also makes it the most forgiving to scan from a distance or at a small size — a good choice for vehicle decals or signage.
Questions
Does this place the call automatically?
No — scanning opens the phone's dialer with the number entered. The person still has to tap call.
What format should I use for the number?
Include the country code with a leading + (e.g. +1 555 123 4567) so it dials correctly regardless of where the scanner is.
Can I add an extension?
Some dialers support a comma (,) to represent a pause before dialing an extension, e.g. +15551234567,101 — but support varies by phone, so test it first.
What's the difference between this and just writing the number as text?
Scanning still requires reading digits either way, but a QR code removes typos entirely — no risk of someone mis-keying a digit from a photo or a glance.
