How it works

  1. Open your Facebook page (or the specific post or event) in a browser and copy the URL from the address bar.
  2. Paste it into the field below and check the preview.
  3. Scan it with your own phone once before printing to confirm it lands on the right page.
  4. Download the SVG for print, or PNG for digital and social use.

Good to know

  • A plain facebook.com/yourpage URL is more durable than a link to one specific post — posts can get buried or deleted, but your page URL doesn't change.
  • Facebook sometimes appends tracking parameters (like ?ref=...) when you copy a link from the mobile app — a cleaner URL from a desktop browser tends to produce a slightly less dense code.
  • No login, API key, or Facebook developer account is needed here — this just encodes whatever URL you paste.

Questions

What link should I use — my page or a specific post?

Either works. Paste your Page URL to send people to your profile, or a specific post/event URL to send them there directly.

Does this need a Facebook developer account or app?

No. It just encodes whatever Facebook URL you paste — no API, no login.

Will it still work if I rename my page?

If your Page URL is tied to a custom username and you change that username, the old link stops resolving — reprint with the new URL if that happens. Using your numeric page ID link avoids this, but it's less readable.

Can I use this for a Facebook group instead of a page?

Yes — paste the group's URL the same way; the tool doesn't distinguish between page, group, post, or event links.
